Venues & Badges

Hello there! We are again taking over a nightclub in the historic Fruit Loop District as well as hosting pop up events at the Tuscany and with Queercon in the DEF CON space. We will be hosting our main event on Saturday Aug 8th at the Piranha Nightclub from 3pm to 9pm. There will be a free shuttle running from the DEFCON Las Vegas Convention Center, Tuscany Suites & Casino, and the Piranha Nightclub.

For our main private event at the Piranha Nightclub you will need one of our 2026 badges to enter:

DEFCON Furs 2026 Fully Assembled Badge for a minimum donation of $160 - You can preorder assembled here or get onsite.

DEFCON Furs 2026 Blank PCB Badge (no parts) for a minimum donation of $40 - You can preorder blank here or get onsite.

Both badges include access to all DEFCON Furs 2026 events and parties, 2 drink tickets for the Piranha, and our sincere appreciation of your support. You will also have free re-entry to Piranha events for the rest of the night after our parties. Must be 21+ to enter, call drinks are cash bar.

NOTE: All pre ordered badges have blank badges "pick up" while supplies last - and can be picked up at the locations listed on our schedule. Badges not picked up will be shipped.

2026 Badge Production Details

We will have a limited production run of assembled badges. Preorders end on August 10, 2026, at which time this listing will be marked sold out, and paid orders will be assembled and shipped by September 30, 2026.

All assembled badge orders come with an additional Blank PCB version available for in-person pickup at DEFCON 2026. Any blanks not picked up will ship with the assembled badge order automatically.

DEFCON Furs 2026 Badge Details

We have here the next iteration in DEFCON Furs #badgelife badge! This year our badge will have you chirping with a LoRa radio, NFC, 48 RGB LEDs, an RP2040 processor, MicroPython scripting, touch points (including the return of booping), and support for a Shitty Add-on (V1.69bis). The badge software and parts list will be posted publicly on GitHub soon. This badge does not get you into DEF CON — you should also get their badge if you want to attend DEF CON. You will need our DEFCON Furs 2026 Badge (Assembled or Blank) to get into our 2026 DEFCON Furs Event Space. We appreciate your support, and it directly impacts members of our community and the charities we support.
